New version of libaitsched has released with full pthread concurrency scheduler queues support.

• Found one bug related with low priority event queue. When finished work with scheduler. Allocated resources if exist in low event priority queue already has abilities to destroy queue
• Add few macros for easy management of task member variables
• Add approach for auto-detect pthread support in system

ELWIX short announce … I delayed to release and open 1st version of MQTT project, but not stopped work over MQTT. Soon it will be available!

Because TEDx conference rearranged my agenda. I am gonna build and support entire network of TEDx event with ELWIX. 🙂

After that in first february week, I will be in Brussels at FOSDEM conference since 3.feb to 6.feb 2012

P.S. With this program I would hardly release ELWIX version 1.6, but MQTT software must be released soon.

I will be at CCC Congress 28C3 – Behind Enemy Lines in Berlin since 27.12.2011 to 30.12.2011. If you wish to meet with us and to discussing of upcoming features in ELWIX, other technical questions or simply drinking beers.

If you wish to see any new features, extending current services of ELWIX or other very important things. Let’s I hear you and your wishes, proposals, approaches for resolving problems and any ideas for we made better product.

MQTT service with full compliance of latest MQTT protocol version 3.1 will be finished in BETA state. Right at time for CCC Congress and I present first overview from project.

I stay on cross road for client management of ELWIX.

• Web server, now is lighttpd but I hesitate between lighttpd, nginx and thttpd
• Config data, now is separated between text files and XML config, but my desire is made consistent config storage with sqlite or XML only.
• Web UI need to develop like separate modules from scratch with pure PHP or PHP+Javascript+AJAX

After short period from my last release of ELWIX component. I released new stable version of libaitio version 2.2 and start new development branch 2.3

ChangeLog::

• Add universal ELWIX resolver API
• Add converting APIs from network structures to human readable values
• Add Variables management and marshaling
• Improve other APIs and made some fixes

Today I release new version 1.2 of aitsched library with multitasking fetch ability.
When task execute callback, inform scheduler for lock state until finishing of call.
And added prevention for overriding arguments of current running task from other new tasks.

This situation are happens before when few threads simultaneously try run and add new tasks at same scheduler engine.

I started development of MQTT service for one week ago.
MQTT project could be finished in two weeks, probably three. But right in time for the CCC Congress 🙂

MQTT will be available in next release of ELWIX.

MQTT project will include::

• MQTT Server – BROKER
• MQTT Client – Publisher and Subscriber
• MQTT Library and Run-time loadable modules with SQL support

New ELWIX 1.5 with patch 2 is available now! After rock ‘n roll in the air I found some weakness in 11n atheros driver.
When is to noisy the environment around AP and I make changing some settings into chip.
After few seconds infamous message from atheros going up to console. Stuck beacons and reset after that.

After tests through past days, I found weakness in bootstrap procedure when board has no ACPI.
Also I update iwn driver with latest patches in ELWIX version 1.5.

I am happy and gonna sleep fine this night. 😀 … ELWIX is fired on very small boards after fixes.
